Thank you to everyone that came this past weekend to Flying X Saloon in Lake Havasu, AZ. Always a great honky tonk time and looking forward to going back again! Lots of summer gigs coming up - This month, I’m back at Maverick Saloon in Santa Ynez with 33 Thunder and then shortly after, I’ll be playing at The Monty again with Heebie and the Jeebies.
Looking ahead to July, I’ll be playing at the OC Fair in Costa Mesa on the 25th with Natalie Jinju. We will be on the Meadows Stage at 4pm. Natalie Jinju recently just signed to Capitol Records and has a more Jazz/Pop style, somewhat like Norah Jones. Listen here!

Two years and one pandemic later, Nick Baxter has written and released his first drum book, “Backbeat to Basics”. This book is organized into four separate sections - Note Reading, Rudiments, Grooves and Fills. Whether you are a teacher or student, these sections allow you to customize your own way to teaching and/or learning.
